The mindset is everything

At Dignus, we place psychological underpinnings of CrossFit in high regard. Thus, we work to train all our athletes in mental toughness. It is crucial for our athletes to know why they train, what their motivations behind their achievements are and also be able to effectively set goals. As coaches, we work with our team to inform and teach them how to attack workouts, and how pushing limits in CrossFit corresponds with being a boss in life.

We also instil crucial skills in our athletes, such as visualisation, self-talk, controlling arousal and being self confident.

 

Mental toughness is not about winning;

it’s about not quitting.

We run bi-monthly group chats at the gym where we all get together, order some (unbelievably wholesome and delicious) Old Lira Pizza and deliver a talk on a particular topic. We ask for everyone’s input and it becomes a great little community discussion.
