I love a tropical heat and have lived in the Caribbean so tropics is me! I’m looking at moving to the Gold Coast but am terribly allergic to bogans (is that what they call them?). We have three small children and are looking at Labrador but have heard mixed reports on the suburb? Even if you got a half decent student job, you would probably only be earning about $20 an hour, so it’s hard to imagine that you could pay for your tuition fees and living expenses on the Gold Coast with that kind of income.A more sensible approach would be to pay for your education with money you have saved, and use the money you might earn whilst here to support your day-to-day expenses. So you will find what you are looking for somewhere, but because I don’t know Gold Coast really well, I can’t specifically advise you about individual suburbs.
