I feel the 2010 mix highlights the percussive, jangling elements of the instrumentation and goes against what Hergest Ridge is all about. Hergest Ridge, an Album by Mike Oldfield. Oldfield settled into his new home but soon felt unsure with his next career move. The only problem was: it was a USA copy and I went through at least 2 LP's in the day(and exchanged several at the store for warping and noise). In my opinion the 2010 remix by Mike did not improve this work, it made it worse.
