You really cant expect the young Carlito to be so much like the older Carlito from the first movie. His casting in this film is a huge problem not only does he play a completely different character, but it adds confusion seeing an actor from the original breaking continuity and comes off as goofy that Carlito would meet two people who look and act exactly the same. |
If I'm not mistaken, this new film focuses on one chapter of the whole story. Everything We Know About Sean Combs give sa moderate performance looking directly at the camera and delivery over the top lines to the best of his abilities. There is so much that could've been put into either movie that it could've made a mini-series.
