I tried to quit Acorn starting in February and finally got some success in July. Heaps of people were unable to actually view any content for one reason or another and ALL of them warned that customer service was virtually non existent. I cannot in good conscious recommend Acorn TV to anyone for any reason. Netflix has the annoying auto-play when you're browsing, BritBox hasn't yet worked out all the bugs, and Hulu…let's not even talk about that monstrosity of a redesign they put out last fall. The TV-based interface (Acorn TV app), even via the Amazon Fire TV Stick, is not user friendly, extremely basic, and very poorly designed. CC constantly messed up, displaying CC from previous episodes. In terms of programming, Acorn TV currently has slightly less than BritBox, at 327 offerings (as of June 2020). There are so many streaming sites to choose from — we won't be back. I wrote to Acorn tv informing them of my inability to log in and was met with a wall of silence, no response for a couple of days.
