The first is some of the background psychology I thought was boring compared to hearing about the serial killer's behavior. I would recommend it to anyone looking to get into the mind of a serial killer. A unique insight into some of Britain’s most notorious criminal investigations, this is the account of Professor Canter's experience as Britain’s leading pioneer in the new science of criminal psychological profiling. I follow my own muse, because it leads me on interesting adventures. She does a great job of telling us about the psychology without overwhelming readers with technical terms. Most of the stuff I knew from different series and movies related to serial killers theme, but it was nice to see that they actually were pretty well grounded. There is very graphic detail of rape, torture, and murder. Nothing shockingly new, but it was put together pretty nicely. It’s a crime that’s been going on for centuries, with people scratching their heads and wondering who it could be and what drove him to insanity.

But to prove this reasoning, most serial killers don’t understand right from wrong at the time they had committed the crime.
